So much to say that I didn’t forget you.
You forgot who I was.
And I’ve since grown up.
I never thought my years could change anything.
Simple verses and all kind memories.
The classics.
The back tracks.
Tales and another story behind my teeth.
Another vision behind my lids.
Something becomes missing and lies underneath.
I fought to hold your hand,
and carry you through the flames.
Then when everything changed,
you made me take the blame.
Yesterday I was.
Today I am new.
Here’s to my future without further ado.
I’m taking the stage and bringing the show.
Mistakes are my own.
And I can let them go.
I’ve done no harm to reap what I’ve won.
And this is my start.
My life has begun.

I hope Youre happy, But I know Youre not. Hiding behind a facade. Your guilty mind will cause you to rot. How can you sleep at night thinking its okay. You’re bitter hearted. But you’ll soon be outdone by your dismay. Shadows appear from one day to the next. I second guess myself and feel quickness in my breath. But I can handle the path and all that it is. I can make it there without you.

I had seen flashing lights when I closed my eyes.
I lay awake even though I’m so tired.
Somehow there’s so much to take in
And my mind stays wired.
There’s no way to fight it.
I’m losing sleep.
But everything is perfect;
No reason to weep.
Who can I save?
I want it to be you.
But I can’t make it so
Unless saving’s what you want me to do.
Think of what you want
And now the vision’s clear.
Now speak up and follow your words.
Bring the feelings, face your fears.
Accept the challenge no matter the wear.
Don’t get yourself caught up in the world’s despair.
If you wanna feel home just follow your cloud.

Today is a day of its own.
A different breed I guess you could say.
I wish I could see you smile,
But you are just too far away.
I can’t hang out in the wrong.
When everything I try to do is only right.
I could sit here and listen to every song.
But that doesn’t put your face in my sight.
I feel that you need to heal.
The kind I want to give.
Let’s consider dropping what isn’t real.
And let’s be who we are and live.
My arms are always open, just like my door.
You know that I want you always.
Now, I just need you so much more.
